Practice Mindfulness

Engaging in mindfulness reduces stress and may lower stress-induced inflammation.

Mindfulness practices, including meditation and breathing exercises, enhance current moment awareness. These techniques are known for stress management benefits, which can subsequently reduce stress-induced inflammation. Studies show potential benefits for older adults and those with high BMI, possibly decreasing inflammatory markers such as CRP. However, exact percentage reductions in these biomarkers have not been documented, indicating the need for further research.
